Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us. Your name, business name, work email, phone number, job title and the content of your messages.
• Booking details. When you book a call at /book, we collect your name, work email, company, the problem you pick, any note you add and the time you choose.
• Tool and download details. When you unlock a free tool, download or case study, we collect your name, work email, company, role, the problem you describe and any answers you enter in the tool.
• WhatsApp messages you exchange with our business number, including message content, your WhatsApp profile name and your phone number.
• Engagement information you submit in the client portal, such as assessment answers, project inputs, deliverable feedback and approvals.
• How you found us. The campaign tags in the link you followed (utm source, medium and campaign), the website that referred you (the site only, not the full address) and the first page you landed on. When you book a call, we save these with the booking.
• Usage and device data. Through Google Analytics, the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, your browser and device type, and your approximate location as Google works it out. See "Cookies, analytics and browser storage" below.
• Security data. Your IP address, used briefly to stop abuse of our forms.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and give support over email and WhatsApp.
• To schedule the call you booked and send you the calendar invite.
• To send you the tool, download or case study you asked for, and to follow up once about it.
• To prepare for a conversation with you. When you book a call or unlock a tool, we may research your company from public sources and draft notes or a proposal. We use AI services to help with this research and drafting. We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
• To deliver and manage the work you have engaged us for.
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors, and to improve the site.
• To keep our sites and forms secure and stop spam.
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

Our WhatsApp messaging is used for business communication tied to your relationship with Provecta: project updates, deliverable review, scheduling, feedback and support. We do not send you promotional WhatsApp messages without your consent.

Cookies, analytics and browser storage

We use Google Analytics 4 on our public pages. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_EB163D1PM5, which keep a random ID for your browser for up to two years so visits can be counted. Google Analytics records the pages you view and the links and buttons you click, including the button text and the page. From the page address we send Google only the campaign tags, never other parts of it. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy.

We do not use analytics on our client portal, back office, sign-in pages or private client links.

Our site also stores a few items in your browser, not in a cookie:

• pg_touch_v1 and pg_uc_v1 hold where you came from and which use case you viewed. They are deleted when you close the tab.
• pg_unlock_v1 holds the details you entered to unlock a tool, so you are not asked again. It stays in your browser until you clear site data.

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works without them.

Do Not Track. Our site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

Tracking by third parties. Google collects information about your activity on our site through Google Analytics and may link it with your activity on other sites under its own policies. We do not allow other third parties to track you on our site.

WhatsApp and Meta

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to send and receive messages. When you message us on WhatsApp, your message is processed by Meta in order to deliver it, under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. We only start or continue WhatsApp conversations in line with WhatsApp's messaging policies and the consent you have given.

Service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run our business, under terms that require them to protect it:

• Vercel, which hosts our websites.
• Neon, which hosts our database.
• Google, for analytics (Google Analytics), calendar invites and video calls (Google Calendar and Google Meet).
• Resend and Zoho, which send and receive our email.
• Anthropic, which provides AI models we use for research, drafting and our WhatsApp assistant.
• Meta, which provides the WhatsApp Business Platform.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

International transfers

We are a US company with team members in Kenya, and our providers store and process data in the United States and other countries. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. After that we delete it or make it anonymous. Browser storage stays on your device as described above, and you can clear it at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for marketing. Email privacy@pgco.world. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying to opt out or asking us to stop.

If you are in Kenya, you have the rights set out in the Data Protection Act 2019, including the rights to be informed, to access, to object, to correct and to delete your data. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at www.odpc.go.ke.

If you are in a US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights under that law. Contact us at privacy@pgco.world and we will respond as that law requires.

Children

Our sites and services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information protected.
